Last Day in Namibia and Wee Ava

Tomorrow morning I have my last meeting with the U.S. Department of Defense and Namibian Ministry of Defense and then I'm outta here for at least three weeks. A friend gave me a much needed kick in the mental ass in regards to my dissertation (baie dankie!) today and I know I have to go back and refocus on finishing that puppy while balancing work, family and other obligations. I'm looking forward to working in Namibia despite the feeling that I will be herding cats for a good deal of the time. Here is a totally unrelated picture of my niece (who looks so much like my sister (her mum) when she was a baby...well, my sister had a bit more hair!). So cute!
